Job Title - Global Commodities Risk Management (CRM) – Assistant Manager Middle Office (MO)
BACKGROUND -
The Assistant Finance Manager will act as the business partner to the Commodities Team (Front Office) responsible for the commodities Risk Management. The incumbent will also closely work with Enterprise support team to deliver CRM reporting. There will be daily interaction with CRM Operations/ Accounting Team and the Europe and Americas Operations team for day to day work management. This is a unique role in terms of skill set, specialists’ nature and diverse work. This is also an ideal learning opportunity for a candidate in terms of global ways of working and risk management The responsibilities include local as well as cross-country tasks in the CRM operating framework.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES-
Decision Support / Analysis / Business Partnering
Assisting CRM (Commodities Risk Management) Director and Manager in decision making and Analysis.
High Priority support to all Global Front office CRM teams for the evaluation of plans / ideas / new initiatives with a target minimum solution provision time to ensure smooth operations and as well as timely tapping of new opportunities.
Key team player and liaison with Back Office, Middle office and Front office team. Lead Coordinator for all joint agendas
Partner with buying team for Risk management issues
Work with Enterprise Support Team to deliver reporting required for compliance and Business performance measurement
Manage the Performance measurement reporting for CRM Front Office Team.
Commodities -
Support Commodities Team in Bringing New Commodities under scope of Hedging
Manage Commodities information network with weekly and monthly Global Commodities Covers reporting
Responsible for reporting and driving compliance on procurement covers with respect to Economic Protection point.
Responsible for Compliance & Controls in the CRM Front Office Middle Office and Back Office operations
Assist CRM Director and Manager to deliver on the detailed analysis related to new risk management strategies IT Capabilities:
Lead the various IT projects related to CRM operations
Responsibility as an administrator to Hedge Accounting Systems – TriplePoint CSL & CXL system
Lead various innovation projects related to IT infrastructure that would facilitate simplification, efficiency and accuracy in CRM operations
Others -
Act as a one point contact for system support to all CRM Team
Audit Coordinator when there is internal, corporate or statutory Audit.
Partner in Strategic Projects of CRM, Commodities network
Preparation of various internal management presentations
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE -
Experienced in Business Partnering.

Efficient Stakeholder management
Strong Interpersonal skills
Problem solver and can derive agendas across teams independently as well as play an important role as a team player
Knowledge of IFRS and well versed in accounting matters
Understanding of Derivatives and concepts of Hedging
Knowledge of financial markets, commodities etc would be an added advantage.
3-4 years of working experience.
Prior work experience on systems and ability to drive projects related to system upgrades and IT innovation
