Job Description: The Finance Assistant (FA) is an integral part of the Loan Department’s financial management and disbursement team. The FA is primarily responsible for determination of the completeness of borrowers’ disbursement (or withdrawal) requests in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures, verification of documentation, and processing of disbursements. Qualification: CA Freshers only. Desired Candidate: Chartered Accountant with work experience project accounting or auditing; knowledge of government funds flow, accounting and auditing systems desirable; familiarity with World Bank policies and practices related to disbursement and procurement will be an added advantage Job location: Chennai.
