Qualifications:

* 3 to 4 years experience post qualification in Financial Reporting.

* Expert knowledge in MS Excel, MS
Access, Power point including writing of VBA codes
* Demonstrated success and progression in previously held accounting positions
* Willingness to relocate and be mobile minded
* Demonstrated excellence in Leadership, Initiative, Communication, Interpersonal, Analytical, Decision Making and Problem Solving skills

As a part of Financial
Analysis and Reporting team, incumbent will be exposed to all areas of
accounting including GL reporting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables,
Treasury , Capital Assets etc. He is expected to take lead on process
improvements, standardisation & automations in the area of financial
reporting including the application of
latest technologies like data analytics, Tableau etc.

* The incumbent owns and has overall responsibility for certain
legal entities. He understands the business well and does the monthly flux
analysis based on business understanding.

He/She has the responsibility for US GAAP and Statutory Reporting* Work with selected financial systems, interpreting and adhering to Caterpillar’s general accounting practices and procedures
* Communicate effectively within the team and with internal and external customers and data providers
* Understand and manage customer requirements and expectations.· Serve as liaison between customer, team and data providers
* Perform Complex Staff Work:
* Provide technical guidance and expertise on highly complex accounting issues such as preparing financial results analysis for upper level management, following up on management's observations etc
* Lead initiatives outside team to represent the group, (e.g. documenting processes, making presentations)
