Job Description:

Requires thorough working knowledge of finance, accounting and business analysis. Bachelors, Masters or MBA degree in Finance, Business or Accounting or related field and 8-12 years of related practical experience. Independently and proactively analyzes financial information and develops solutions to complex problems. Consistently utilizes and applies advanced financial modeling, accounting, business and risk management skills. Provides varying levels of advice and financial information to operational business groups or factories to drive the business and decision-making process. Supports business by closing the books, analyzing variances and trends, and developing financial forecasts that are consistent with the business objectives of the organization. Provides information and counsel in the areas of controls/risk management, budgeting and planning, pricing, cost, marketing strategies, return on investment decisions, and the development of overall business plans and strategies. Ensures compliance with reporting standards and corporate policies and the integrity of external and internal reporting. Plans and schedules own work to ensure timely completion of interrelated & independent tasks and operates with very limited direction. Regularly applies strategies and concepts and draws on a cumulative knowledge base from previous experiences to independently execute an appropriate course of action. Develops solutions to a broad mix of moderate to complex business challenges on a regular basis. Is able to use relevant frameworks to analyze various information and provide deeper insight to management on alternate approaches to address business challenges and recommend the optimal option backed by robust analysis and business justification.

Masters in Finance / Management graduate / Chartered Accountant .
Preferably with Engineering background.


Job Role
This Role is for Financial Analyst who will be responsible for providing strategic finance support to the South Asia Marketing and Retail teams. Responsibilities include -
Partner with South Asia Marketing Director to develop marketing strategies & drive investment effectiveness
Lead and participate as the key finance stakeholder in cross functional / regional / worldwide teams for analysis, planning & reporting
Develop financial analyses and program structures to support annual & quarterly marketing plans including assessment of the results/ forecasts and the focus areas for growth
Ownership for defining KPIs for marketing programs, tracking program success and timely report-out to all stakeholders
Partner with Retail head to drive investment effectiveness and management of the retail channel including large/small format retail, mobile specialty retail and e-tail
Periodically track retail performance, highlight key trends and business challenges. Present key insights to senior management to drive geo retail strategy

Establishing business partnerships with operations team and strong communication skills will be crucial. The analyst is expected to ensure highest level of integrity & compliance to Intel's guidelines in the business practices. The position will report to SMG SA Operations Finance Manager.

Acumen and Skills expectation
Biz Acumen Reasonable expertise on Intel's overall business Products / Markets / Competition / Customer trends / OEM landscape / Retail Landscape and in emerging areas like Smart Phones / Tablets.

Financial Analysis skills
Strong analytical skills and comfortable in using various tools NPV / DCF / Monte Carlo / ROI models/ Scenario analysis

Network /Partnership
Strong networking / partnership skills is required since the role will require regular interaction with people at senior levels in operations and lead cross-org and/or cross-geo efforts.

Independence - work on own agenda on strategic/ambiguous matters and should be able to get in front of issues and steer them through by articulating the viewpoints effectively

Influence - Will be expected to work on projects with high impact and should be good at pre-positioning the recommendation and align critical stakeholders

Composed - Should be able to present controversial and ambiguous issues to Senior Management with confidence, handle difficult questions adeptly. Should require minimal air cover and be able to steer the discussion to a desired direction that is best in shareholder's interest
