Business Unit – Risk Management.

Credit Risk Management (CRM) is an important component of risk management in banks. The Bank has a robust risk governance framework in place, addressing all aspects of credit risk management viz, origination, underwriting, administration, monitoring, reporting and recovery.

Job Purpose:

To decision on loan applications and creation of a quality credit portfolio through adherence to policies and credit processes.

Principal Accountabilities of the Role:-

1.Quality and uniform credit appraisal

• Underwriting and approval of loans and ensuring that all credit processes are followed and policy norms are implemented.
• Personal discussion with customers to understand business, cash flows, purpose of loan, etc.
• Checking disbursements and ensuring collateral perfection.
• Visiting projects and properties.

2.Credit TATs within acceptable levels

• Timely decision of cases.
• Tracking agency performance on TATs.

3.Quality credit portfolio

• Improving fraud control activities

 

Qualifications

 

Educational Qualification

• Graduate in any discipline. Postgraduate degree in Finance is preferred.

Relevant Experience

• 3-5 years in Banks or financial services; with preferably 2 years in consumer risk.
• Good knowledge of consumer banking products and processes with regard to Local market conditions with respect to retail loans and competition norms.

• Proficiency in Computer Systems (MS Office – Excel, Word)
