Reconciliations, you'll take the lead as you
Prepare, Analyze, Research and Resolve high complexity
accounts across pyramids as assigned.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of necessary
journal entries and account reconciliations.
Analyze account balances and activity for accuracy.
Ensure 'zero' aging beyond 90 days and adherence to SOX
guidelines
Review and Approve account reconciled by other team
members.
Maintain good working knowledge of all the processes
handled by the team and additional complex tasks.
Conduct and evaluate training for new and existing team
members on all pyramid reconciliations and other training initiatives.
Conducts assessments as necessary to develop training
interventions and to maximize team member performance using current performance
monitoring tools such as Quality feedback, reviews and approvals. This includes
a monthly analysis of quality feedback and training adjustments, thereof.
Partner with lead and Mpls business teams to ensure
regular updates are provided to the existing and new team members and also
update internal training web sites/tools.
Provide consistent feedback and suggestions to improve
on-line training manuals and training materials utilized by the team. Recommend
changes to current practices to ensure efficiency in processing operations.
Identify various process improvement ideas that will help
the team improving the overall process.
Participate in any special projects & quality
improvement initiatives assigned by the partners or management.
Share and implement best practices followed across Finance
Operations on training partnership, documentation, training methodology,
assessments and certification.
Able to work in both a team and individual environment.
Should be able to prioritize work and multi task
effectively.
Supervise the daily activities of the team and facilitate
meetings in the absence of lead.
Responsible for ensuring self development through
education, networking, training and related work experiences to strengthen
capabilities and drive performance improvement.
Requirements
College degree in Accounting (B.Com)
Knowledgeable in accounting principles
Four to five years accounting experience, two to three
years of these in reconciliations
Understanding of the business cycles and fundamental
marketing and accounting concepts
Proficiency and accuracy with numbers
High degree of professionalism, self motivation, and
initiative
Demonstrate leadership ability with strong team player
attitude
Ability to organize and prioritize workload, while meeting
strict deadlines
Project planning and multi-tasking skills
Strong PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft
applications, Share Point, Essbase, SAP
Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making
skills
Ability to make decisions which are accurate and t imely
Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
including public speaking
Strict adherence to confidentiality guidelines
Proven customer service skills
