Key Responsibilities 1. General Accounting • Ensure that Accounts are accurately prepared within timelines and in accordance with local regulations as well as Maersk GAAP (IFRS) and related accounting policies. • Regular preparation and review of trial balance and various schedules giving breakup of the required information. • Accountable for system controls, adherence to the policies and SOPs of the GSC in all areas having a financial impact. • Move from transaction controls to design controls and thus elevate the usage of system control framework to enhance the analytical capabilities of the Finance team. 2. Reporting and value add: • Finalize all statutory reports and ensure appropriate filing. • Provide inputs to various stakeholders on periodic basis • Participate in global GSC initiatives to provide transparency and guidance on various elements of cost. • Drive elimination of duplication in the system / practices and help automation to bring efficiencies in the team • Manage the team effectively providing overall guidance on adherence and conduct 3. Tax and Compliances • Ensure that details required for Tax Assessments are provided. • Claims / refunds/ submission of returns under various statutory provisions are appropriately filed and followed up in a timely manner. • Strengthen governance 4. Budgeting, Variance Analysis and Cost Controls • To drive the yearly budget process in accordance with guidelines from Cluster/Country. Who we are looking for Education: • • Bachelor of Commerce with Chartered Accountancy having more than 7 years’ experience in FnA • Sound knowledge of IFRS / US GAAP • Good Understanding of audit and internal control systems, management reporting, accounting and financial reporting System / IT Skills: • Microsoft office (MS Excel, Power point etc) • SAP, BCS-HFM operating experience Behavioural Skills: • Ownership • Self-motivation and initiative. • Effective communication and timely Decision making • Integrity of numbers as well as personal • Good on People Management Apply Now
