Trust Accountant for CoE Accounting Support Guernsey
We Offer...
- Preparation of financial statements and minutes for high-complex Trust structures and investment companies of with bankable and non-bankable Assets:
- Accounting for incorporated and regulated entities such Singapore companies,
- Accounting for commercial and/or residential properties
- Accounting for and segregation of capital and income transactions within trust structures
- Monitoring and reporting of cash positions and bank transactions
- Reconciliation of cash balances to bank statements
- Preparation of financial analysis (e.g. performance reviews)
- Daily interaction & correspondence (day-to-day business, agreements, minutes, resolutions) with stakeholders from other jurisdictions
You Offer...
- Chartered accountant, MBA, Mcom or Bcom with a focus in finance
- Proven track record in accounting industry, administering / dealing with high-complex accounts & stakeholders
- Trust & fiduciary environment would be an asset
- General Accounting background
Securities booking:
- Purchase and sale of securities
- Valuation of Securities (depending on
- Accounting for Corporate Actions
- Swap Deals
- FIFO
- Ability to manage and respond to queries, and dealing with 3rd parties such as tax advisors, auditors, etc.
- Practical understanding of the workings of trust structures and the linkage between trust and its underlying mandates and/or investments (would be an asset)
- Ability to work within tight deadlines
- Possession of an enquiring mind and dynamic attitude in dealing with special client requests
