Description

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Accounting and Finance responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee Account Payable functions for Asia Pacific legal entities (APAC).
  • Perform APAC monthly close activities including: preparing journals, calculating accruals, intercompany accounting, and account reconciliations in compliance with US and local GAAP requirements.
  • Maintain APAC books and reconcile to Masimo corporate books held in Masimo system under US GAAP accounting rules monthly.
  • Manage intercompany invoicing and accounting for inventory sales with parent company.
  • Prepare APAC tax returns for: Service Tax, Income taxes, VAT, Sales Tax, Local state taxes, Withholding taxes.
  • Coordinate payment requests for all taxes and import duties.
  • Audit and process APAC employee travel expense reimbursements
  • Perform customer credit analysis and recommend credit limits, chase and collect cash, assist with letters of credit
  • Responsible for cash management and.arranging bank guarantees for tenders.
  • Organize stocktakes & cycle counts
  • Manage annual statutory audit and preparation of APAC local statutory accounts.
  • Manage company secretarial compliance.
  • Assist HR department with monthly payroll preparation, end of year payroll reporting.
  • Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting and protection of assets.
  • Oversee and manage responsibilities of finance staff.
Other responsibilities
  • Partner with India Country Manager to increase sales.
  • Assist the India Country Manager with budgeting and forecasting of sales and expenses.
  • Assist with the set-up of India logistics operations and manage inventory:
  • Manage inventory: order replenishment stocks and provide oversight and guidance to manage the physical inventory at 3rd party logistics
  • Review large sales deals for compliance with company policies (pricing, FCPA compliance etc.)
  • Assist India Country Manager and functional heads to manage IT, Regulatory, HR, and contracts
  • Perform ad hoc projects
Education, Experience and Skill Requirements:
  • 10 years + broadly based general financial accounting and finance experience including credit, accounts payable, tax and managing Auditors contacts.
  • Experience working in a US company and multinational environment.
  • Fluent English.
  • Accounting qualification: Chartered Accountant or similar
  • SOX experience is preferred.
