JOB
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Activity

Work with staff to ensure
the timely and accurate release of NAV’s and completion of all daily
reconciliations, and departmental reporting requirements
·
Ensure that all daily work
is performed within policy and procedural guidelines
·
Resolving of accounting or
system related issues occurring within the funds
·
Workflow planning to
ensure proper coverage of daily work within a specified line group.

·
Prepare Month End Fund
files, and other statutory documents.
·
Preparation of month end
department statistics.
·
Preparing/review half
year/year end fund files and accounts to TB.
·
Working with the external/
internal auditors to resolve issues within the funds.
|
·
Provide for adequate
training and developmental opportunities for staff.
·
Systems testing and
performance of UAT to cater to client requirements.
·
Conduct UAT, BCP & DR
on fund accounting system.

REQUIREMENTS:
KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, AND
EXPERIENCE
1.
It is preferred that this
position should have upto one year of mutual fund accounting.
2.
This position requires a
University degree in accounting
3.
Experience with automated
financial systems, including a general ledger, is preferred.
4.
Expertise in reconciliations
including bank accounts, TDS, liability lines, etc.
5.
Thorough knowledge of fund
administration process and industry accounting standards.
6.
Knowledge of end to end mutual
fund operations encompassing transfer agency, settlements, cash management and
accounting.
ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.
Professional qualification in finance, accounting or management would be viewed
favourably
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Strong analytical and procedural
skills.

Ability to handle variety of fast
changing situations in terms of work pressure.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be independent, tactful, initiative and high level of integrity.
Candidates
should preferably CA inter with Atleast 2 – 3 years of experience with CA firm
