Summary of
Responsibilities
The company seeks a Sr. Staff Accountant who would be an integral
part of the Accounting and Controllership team.
This position is expected to have a strong sense of ownership, ability
to identify process improvement opportunities, drive positive change across the
organization, and enhance partnerships between Accounting and various business
groups.
Primary responsibilities:
•
Ensuring closure of books for IN within
timelines. Review for Opex accounts and comparison of monthly run rates and
variance analysis.
•
Preparation and monitoring the budgets on a
periodic basis and reporting to Management.
•
Manage Budgeting, Financial Forecasting,
Operating Plan and other modeling tools as required
•
Analyze current and past trends in key
performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses
and capital expenditures
•
Supporting Management Team and Departments heads
with in-depth PL analysis
•
Coordinating with auditors for timely closure of
audits.
Basic Qualifications:
•
4-8 years
of experience for a qualified Chartered Accountant
•
Knowledge of IN accounting standards and
procedures
•
Experience working with cross-functional teams
•
Should have good knowledge and Speed in working
in Excel.
•
Good communication skills – written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications:
•
Working knowledge of Tally and any ERP
•
Maintain a high level of attention to detail,
the ability to work independently, adjust priorities, and work in a
continuously changing environment
•
Preferred experience in building and managing
Financial Model
