The Finance Manager and company Secretary to the Finance Controller
The incumbent needs to be a CA & CS mandatory, from relevant companies doing similar work. CA 2011/12 preferable
The incumbent
will oversee the whole area of payables , including payables planning, ensuring and driving Financial
Controls through SAP or otherwise in the area of payables Generate business MIS in the area of general
expense for meaningful interpretations. Support all the PC processes in their
day to day operations due to interface challenges and ensure system hygiene by
looking at both DC and PC data. Owing
and leading the CIS closure on monthly, qtr and annual level including meeting
all the statutory obligations as per the Indian regulation and compliance to
global ACM. Front ending with the statutory auditors. Also ensuring all the
Secretarial compliances of the company
as per the new companies act.
Successful performance requires

- Understating of the accounts payables area and Risk and control around the same.

- Understating the banking process
- Thorough understanding of the SAP system & its end to end implications for both PC and DC template.

- Education: Chartered Accountant with 4 to 6 years of experience covering area of Accounting, Controlling, payables, banking and MIS.
- Should have worked either in the implementation of SAP or have worked as super/key user in SAP.
- Ability to handle and manage people at different levels.
- An excellent communicator in a range of situations both written and oral.
- PC Know-how: excellent MS-Office skills (especially advanced knowledge of excel & Power point), quick grasp of accounting-software
Detailed Responsibilities (non-inclusive):
1)
Ensuring payable area is managed with all checks and balances before the
invoices are scanned to Genpact. Own & strengthen the accounts payables by
doing proper Risk and control analysis.
2)
Deliver Withholding tax and reverse charge related compliance in the
area of payables.
3)
Leading the payable interface with Genpact to ensure it meets SLA &o
drive the improvement, transparency & automation
4)
Coordinate with banks for both local and forex transactions including
managing day to day cash.
5)
Ensure accurate GL/CC accounting leading to correct COPA/B.one-CIS
adherence.
6)
Maintain Balance sheet control by driving GR/IR, Inter group company
reconciliations and vendor reconciliations.
7)
Compile annual cost budget, track the same monthly by generating monthly
MIS in the area of General expenses, lead and drive discussion with all the
budget owners & ensuring GCCR compliance as per the company policy
8)
Ensure monthly, Qtr and annual book closing by meeting all the statutory
and Global HQ requirement including Indian GAAP. Also lead the Statutory aduit
process.
9)
Working closely with PC team to support them in their operations due to dual
system challenges. Also track the accounts to ensure PC maintains hygiene.
10)
Develop off line processes for complex operations like service tax
credit, dual books of accounts for meeting Indian regulation which are not
supported by Global template.
11)
Lead all Secretarial compliances
as per the companies act and ICSI guidelines
12) Deliver on multiple complex engagements and work in
collaboration with various stakeholders by driving process improvements which
strengthens Controls and compliance as per company policy
13) Establishing and maintaining strong relationship with
customers / business partners and other interface groups.
