Finance Team in Markit
India is a part of the Global Finance function and have within its fold
Accounts Receivable process, Accounts Payable process and Controllership.
Position Summary
We need an individual
who has good experience and understanding of the Order to Cash / Billing
function who can provide support to the global finance function via the Markit
India Global Service Delivery Team. You will be an organised, hard working,
friendly and confident individual, with excellent communication and
interpersonal skills to fit into the company culture. This is a great
opportunity for someone who would like to develop their skills and become part
of a winning team. Responsibilities at a high level will include handling day
to day Accounts Receivable activities for various Markit entities, thereby
assuring that it is carried out with utmost accuracy and in a timely fashion
Duties & Accountabilities
§ Timely
review of customer legal contracts and approval, rejection, and checking of
contracts to CRM system § Update sales
contracts ledger for new client contracts and contract amendments § Handle
Customer queries for different lines of business; ensure accurate & timely
resolution and rigorous follow-up with stakeholders wherever needed. § Create
new customers on finance system when required § Resolution
of invoicing errors and processing customer requested changes § Generate
invoices weekly and monthly, revenue accrual, variance analysis on revenue
movement § Liaise
with regional credit controllers § Liaise
with global sales team § Perform
period end routine as required § Other ad hoc
duties as required
