Business Partner Role:
Partnering Business Head & team for driving sustainable profitable
growth
Proactively identifies opportunities for continuous business
& process improvement, supports & influences business team in
implementation
Ensures focused attention on Fixed & Working Capital productivity
to drive FCF, ROE and ROIC.
Working capital forecasting and ensuring efficient fund management
Responsible for robust risk management covering especially
Credit and Currency risks. Uses domain expertise to
create/protect business value
Generates ideas for sustained cost management, takes personal
ownership for successful realization
Co-ordinate with Product desk (UK/Singapore), Corporate
Office (Singapore) and country team at India head office (Gurgaon)
Coordinates all legal and fiscal matters of the business
Overview of systems & IT initiatives, including automation
of data entry, reporting & control of transactions
Financial planning
& analysis:
Budgeting & Variance Analysis - Frame Financial Budgets
& present Variance Analysis
Preparation and scrutiny of Financial and Management
Accounts
Periodical reporting on risks and profitability of the
business
Capex proposal preparation / evaluation and review
Accounting &
Controls
Assurance to Business Head and CEO/CFO on integrity of numbers
and processes and adherence to policies
Compliance to all relevant Accounting standards and Company
policies
Risk identification and monitoring; Pre-facto signalling of
potential issue in controllable areas
Periodical visits to various operating locations i.e. (factory/warehouses)
for routine scrutiny & surprise visits
Handle statutory audit / internal audit with nil adverse observations
related to finance areas
Ensure control over factory operations to cover stocks, processing
charges & expenditure. To frame & implement efficient cost accounting
system in factories
