CA ( 3-4 yrs exp) as Finance Specialist for CSR initiative of leading US based MNC

Month end Closing and
Statutory Financials
1. Lead the
process of preparing consolidated financial statements of the Foundation by
planning and coordinating with contributing business entities, and statutory
auditors to get statutory financials audited within given timeline.
2. Ensure
completion of the Foundation’s tax audit and income tax return filing along
with transfer pricing certification as per timelines decided by corporate tax.
3. Complete the
Foundation’s deferred tax workbook and tax package within given timeline.
4. Ensure
timely submission of information and data to internal and statutory auditors
and consultants for audits and tax assessments.
5. Lead financial
reporting and month end closing process for the Foundation, by way of checking
the financials of units live on SAP, performing trend analysis, variance
analysis for P&L and balance sheet items.
6. Ensure
accounts are prepared in compliance with Indian GAAP, US GAAP and Honeywell
Accounting Policies.
Controllership and
Statutory Compliances
1.
Ensure timely deposit of all statutory dues
and submission of returns relating to direct & indirect tax, (TDS, Service
tax, PF etc.)
2.
Review balance sheet account reconciliations
on monthly basis and ensure no accumulation of P&L items in balance sheet.
3.
Standardize account reconciliation process
and ensure account reconciliations are completed within timeline.
4.
Ensure the Foundation is compliant to all
controllership policies. Escalate and implement corrective action plan for any
deviation observed.
5.
Development and maintain a system of internal
controls and processes for all legal entities and periodic reporting to Entity
Controllers to ensure their respective statutory compliances with regard to CSR
are met.
6.
Prepare AOP/Budget for the CSR entity and
adequately monitor the actual spends and report variance /justification on
periodic basis to board
7.
Strong accounting fundamentals to ensure
adherence for the CSR entities as well as proper accounting process adoption
for contributing entities.
8.
Document all financial processes and controls
as per Sarbanes Oxley requirement.
9.
Maintain a schedule of release of payments to
NGO partners based on project milestones and other control mechanisms
10.
Responsible for income tax planning,
compliance, returns and assessments
