Responsibilities
Compliance coverage of Cash Management, Trade Services, Corporate Banking and Risk.
Providing guidance on FEMA related aspects like Capital account and Current account transactions including reviewing product programmes and structures from a regulatory perspective.
Managing the Annual Financial Inspection of RBI including tracking issues and coordinating responses from all business units and interfacing wih RBI.
Handling the Compliance Monitoring & Testing process covering both internal and RBI requirements across the bank.
Interface with RBI on critical matters requiring additional clarifications.
Interacting with Corporate Audit to provide regulatory clarifications during internal audits.
Working closely with industry bodies like Indian Banks Association (IBA).
Attending to regulatory correspondence promptly including adhoc requests.
Working very closely with Asia Pacific Regional Compliance Management for rolling out company wide compliance programs.

Requirements
Required Skills :-

1. Thorough knowledge and understanding of RBI regulations and FEMA to be able to provide solution oriented guidance and support to the business.
2. Thorough knowledge of the RBI inspection process and cycles.
3. Very good understanding of the wholesale banking business and the regulatory environment and ability to apply them in a practical manner.
4. Ability to maintain a culture of compliance by identifying, escalating and timely mitigation of compliance risks.
5. Ability to influence business managers and peers to ensure enforcement of compliance pograms, balancing business strategy with appropriate controls.
6. Must have good communication and people management skills so as to effectively interact with seniors at regulatory agencies, external consultant and other internal groups.
