Job Title:                 Junior Financial Analyst / Financial Analyst

Reporting to:           Manager – Business Analytics

 Job Location:         Hyderabad

MBA/CA ‐Inter with 1‐2 years or M.Com with 5 years’ experience in financial analysis and reporting experience

Job Description

Primarily responsible for monitoring the firm’s debt portfolio and supporting the investment team with financial analysis for new credit proposals. Also responsible for managing the various external reporting requirements of Caspian’s debt fund.

Specific Tasks

Develop and maintain contacts within the portfolio companies to ensure timely provision of data, either periodic or ad hoc

On‐going monitoring of existing borrowers to ensure compliance with all approved terms, conditions and applicable covenants

Coordinate with Investment team in developing appropriate metrics for due diligence and monitoring

Financial analysis on each potential investee – submit this to the Debt Team for their review and inclusion in the Credit Committee proposal

Assist management with other responsibilities as needed

Desired Skills

Highly proficient in excel (Knowledge of Macro/excel VBA would be a plus)

Skilled in ratio analysis

Experience in Financial Modelling (Preparing CMA data)

Ability to perform under tight timelines

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Travel

< 10%; Will be on an “as needed” basis to assist the Investment team for due diligence or monitoring of portfolio companies.
