Description
Job Purpose:
Prepare and manage the global transfer pricing documentation reports and other incidental activities that will support tax and transfer pricing teams in various parts of the world
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of end-to-end documentation process for allocated share of countries
- Work in close coordination with the US tax team, business, finance and tax professionals
- Regular interaction with group CFOs and controllers to understand the business model
- Monitor International TP developments and initiate action plans
- Gathering and analyzing data relating to intercompany transactions within entire Citi group
- Perform functional interviews and understand extremely complex flows
- Prepare and review country specific documentation for complex jurisdictions
- Preparation of statutory TP disclosures, if required
- Support HQ cost allocation processes
- Develop Internal Knowledge development tools
- Participate in controversy management, where required
- Coordinate with external advisors on successful defense of group TP strategy
- Participate in setting up and enhancement of group TP policies
- Ad-hoc tax transfer pricing work
- Other miscellaneous

Qualifications
Knowledge/Experience:
2 to 4 years of experience in tax transfer pricing will be preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance or Economics. Masters is a plus. or
MBA Finance or
Chartered Accountant
Skills:
- Knowledge of tax transfer pricing concepts and the relevant global regulations on transfer pricing (OECD guidelines, BEPS action plans)
- Prior experience of working on tax transfer pricing documentation, litigation and planning exercises
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of financial products and financial services industry
- Advance level knowledge in MS Word and intermediate level knowledge in MS Excel
- Understanding of basic accounting concepts
- Demonstrated analytical skills to handle ad-hoc queries
- Deadline oriented
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
