POSITION:    Assistant Manager– Telecom Finance & Operating and Risk Advisory
REPORTS TO:     Associate Director – Telecom Finance & Operating and Risk Advisory      
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assist in internal audits and revenue assurance .
Knowledge of telecom processes, systems and network elements is a must.
Prior experience in working with telecom companies would be an added advantage.

Demonstrate knowledge of business process and related risks.

Communicate the importance of business ethics to the consultants.
Demonstrate the ability to evaluate, synthesize, organize and interpret data and information.
Develop the ability to transport process and risk services to multiple industries.
Seek industry / service line training and stay informed about new developments.
Obtain appropriate professional or technical certification.
Identify gaps between required skills and existing competencies and assist in identifying appropriate training to fill gaps.
Client Service Delivery
Routinely seek information from the client regarding their needs and concerns.
Seek guidance from the manager on additional client personnel with whom to develop  relationships
Become alert to potential problems in the client relationship and engagement.
Instill in consultants a caring attitude toward the client.
Develop sound job administration skills so that jobs run smoothly.

ABILITY TO TRAVEL
Travel throughout the month frequently required based on client requests/commitments (approx. 60-65%)
EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS

Chartered Accountant/MBA from a reputed institute
Post qualification 4+ years in a related field, preferably in professional services and/or industry
“Big 4” experience strongly preferred
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Prior project management  and supervisory skills
Interpersonal skills to interact in team environment and foster client relationships
Demonstrated understanding of the importance of business ethics
Sound job administration skills
Good written communication skills including documentation of findings and recommendations
Strong analytical skills
Must be able to handle highly confidential information in a strictly professional manner
Must be able to maintain professional demeanor in times of high stress
REQUIRED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Understanding of current accounting (GAAP) and auditing (GAAS) principals
Understanding of internal control concepts (COSO, COBIT)
Knowledge of auditing processes and methodologies, including flowcharting
Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions and methodologies for achieving compliance
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications
LOCATION
Gurgaon and Mumbai
TRAVEL

Travel throughout the month frequently required based on client requests/commitments. Should have a valid passport and should be willing to travel for at least 4 to 6 months a year to Middle East.
