CA with 10+ years of post qualification work experience, last profile being held in consolidation and financial reporting, and preferably in telecom / service industry.

Job Title:  Head Consolidation and Reporting

Reporting to : Global Financial Controller

Company: Leading telecom company

Corporate HQ at Gurgaon

Purpose of the Job

1. Responsible for quarterly and annual reporting for company and its subsidiaries including Clause 41 filing
2. Responsible for accounting closure of one off transactions – Business Combination, Impairment testing, Bond issuance, Merger/demerger, hedge accounting, etc
3. Responsible for issuance of Accounting Guidelines
4. Responsible for implementation of other accounting and reporting changes: New IFRS, Companies Act, etc
5. Responsible for handling of audit of the consolidated and standalone financial statements of company and its subsidiaries
6. Responsible for Financial Analytics office

Deliverables 

Financial Statements as per IFRS and IGAAP requirements for legal entities and Clause 41 financial results

1. Finalisation of accounting notes on various one off transactions and closure with Auditors
2. Issuance of various accounting guidelines/update of accounting manual
3. Resolving old accounting and control related issues which need special attention, as part of Financial Analytics Office
4. Monthly P&L reporting

Major Challenges:

1. Closure of IFRS and IGAAP issues and handling Audit
2. Keeping abreast with the changes in accounting and reporting requirements
3. Cross functional coordination
4. Constant brain storming for continuous improvement
