Role

• Responsible for handling & monitoring Quarterly and yearly Accounts Closing Activities, Statutory & Tax Audits; Reconciliation & Monitoring of General Accounts.
• To Generate MIS Reports periodically for Managements review on various financial parameters to gauge functioning of the organization.
• To Spearhead efforts across handling entire spectrum of functions pertaining to finance & accounting Management, Taxation, Commercials & Administrative Functions; ensuring adherence to statutory compliances.
• Instrumental on conceptualizing & implement accounting policies/principles & tracking systems for various functional areas.
• To ensure compliance with accounting standards & procedures & reconciliation/finalization of various accounts within time bound schedules.
• To assist the Company in annual budgeting & forecasting; responsible for preparing financial reports to determine the financial visibility, projecting cash flow & growth opportunities while preparing projected financial statements.
• Should have expertise in Fund Management & Budgeting; determine how much revenue is necessary to cover the total cost of any project.
• Proactively participate in Designing & implementation programme of Financial Accounting System in Oracle Apps R12i which includes designing Organizational Structure, Codification, Operational process & Training to fellow staff & migration of Accounts from old system to Oracle AppsR12i.
• To participate in design & Modification of Financial Accounting System in Oracle Apps R12i and Monitor day to day Accounting Activities & resolve issues in daily Accounting Activities in Oracle Apps R12i.
• Process of Payments to Vendors, Maintaining & Monitoring of Payables in project Division & Monitoring Site Accounts in project Division.
• Filing of VAT returns, tracking TDS deduction & returns in compliance with time & accuracy norms & remitting dues within stipulated date.
• Accountable for Tax planning & structure designing along with assessments, appeals up to tribunal.
• To monitor the activities related to issuance of Waybills, CST Declaration Forms & preparation of various Statements related to VAT Liability & CST Liability of the Company in the State of West Bengal.
• To provide leadership to team of accounts officers/staff & arranging training sessions for them to keep their skill levels up-to-date.
