Understand the data flow of AXP Business Volume along with Statistical Data Capture of Business level Card Business •Linking Statistical data flow with AXP Financials in regard to Business Units & Segment reporting •Extensive analysis of Statistical data, converting data points into information that drives business story and be able to maintain high accuracy and productivity standards •Assist in Financial Reporting at an AXP/ Regional/Market/LOB/ External Segment- level •Establish required controls and checks to ensure integrity of the information collected •Develop relevant reporting of Financial Statements with supporting analysis to cater to diverse customer requirements and exceed customer’s requirements whilst ensuring effective teamwork at all times •Collaborate with multiple Finance partners across Business Units and deliver on customer expectations •The incumbent will be expected to quickly gain detailed understanding of inputs, processes, controls, flows, metrics, risks, and outputs of the process area •The incumbent will also be required to participate in standardization and continuous improvement initiatives as well as other business partner initiatives Offer of employment with American Express is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background verification check, subject to applicable laws and regulations . Qualifications •Chartered Accountant / an MBA/from premier institute with minimum 2 years of experience •Should have problem solving, planning and analytical skills to facilitate and focus on continuous improvement and innovation •Must have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to interact independently with senior business partners / customers etc •Reporting and analytical experience will be an added advantage •Financial accounting experience is preferred •For an internal candidate, Knowledge of Company Policies, Businesses, Finance processes and Systems (Oracle - Essbase,HFR, BIEE, TM1, Axiom is desirable. •Must be proficient in MS Applications such as Word, Excel and Power-point •Should have strong results orientation, project management, collaboration and co-ordination abilities ReqID: 15002913 Apply Now
