Maintains Boeing International Corporation India Private Limited (BICIPL) accounting processes, procedures and reporting practices in accordance with Indian fiduciary and Boeing financial standards. Executes internal controls and ensures oversight as it pertains to company financial policies and regulations. Responsible for assisting in producing financial set of books and financial statements which are compliant and auditable per Indian regulations. The candidate should have experience in working in a diverse, changing and growing business environment. Completely understands and applies job practices, techniques, standards, principles and concepts. Other duties and responsibilities are assigned by management.

Competencies:
1.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Work closely with different functional teams in India and US to ensure: Accurate and timely accounting and maintenance of books and records in various Accounting/Finance Systems. Generate various Reports from the Accounting system for review and follow up. Compliance with various laws and regulations. Identification and reporting of concerns in a timely way.

2.Ensure compliance with government laws and regulations, policies, and professional standards.

3.Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems referring to established precedents and policies.

4.Assist in providing accurate and timely financial information and related reports that are both used internally (by India and US offices) and externally (by local authorities).

5.Assist in the preparation of all Financial Statements statutory and tax.

6.Provides necessary support and accurate information to auditors, both external and internal.

7.Acts as back up to other team members as needed.

This requisition is for an international, locally hired position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not on Boeing US-based payroll.

Qualifications

Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with 1-2 years' of related work experience- experience working with a US multinational desired. Experience of working in an ERP environment like Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP. Working knowledge of withholding taxes, service tax and VAT. Excellent understanding of Indian GAAP. Strong analytical skills. Advanced computing skills (MS Office Suite of Software, particularly MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint). Good English language skills (read, write, and spoken) and communication skills. Flexible team player who is comfortable working in a multicultural environment.
