Key Responsibilities
1. Overall responsibility of inventory valuation, accounting and reporting of inventory
2. Predictability of MIS
3. Segregation of divisional MIS into LOB wise and Department wise
4. Accounting support in ABP, SBP and monitoring performance against that
5. Key user for finance processes in ERP with special focus on internal controls
6. Insurance reporting and Management

Job Description
The incumbent shall be responsible for the following:
1. Overall responsibility of operational, accounting, process and IT aspects of inventory for the division
2. Monitoring and reporting of inventory including coordination of physical stock taking and related compliance cycle
3. Active participation in ABP/ SBP process
a. Consolidation of monthly LOB wise ABP into divisional ABP.
b. All reporting would happen only against these figures.
4. Estimating the profitability at the beginning of the month, keep revising as month progresses.
5. Projecting MIS immediately after month closure and before MIS is released by Corporate.
a. Comparison with MIS when released by Corporate.
b. Learning from this process to improve the process of estimation and projection of MIS.
c. The job would be to ensure that there are no surprises when MIS is released
d. If there is any business issue which is likely to impact profitability, it should be clearly brought out, formally discussed and factored in estimation, projection and ABP processes
6. Ensuring data & system discipline and adequacy of accounting controls
7. Controls through analytics and review of exceptional reports/ items
8. Monthly book closure systems and deadlines
9. Segregation of divisional MIS into LOB (Line of Business) wise and Department wise
10. Providing support to LOBs and Internal Services in interpretation of MIS and factoring it in their business processes
11. Key user for finance processes in ERP with special focus on internal controls
a. To play an active part in Infor implementation of Financial processes
12. Financial processes are culmination of logistics processes and should be able to see them in seamless manner
13. He would be responsible for Financial Integration set ups
14. He would also be IT coordinator for Finance function
15. Providing support in automating the processes by designing and developing system on non-ERP platform
16. Monitoring the process of taking/renewing insurance policies, insurance claims

Qualification Details
Essential Qualification: Chartered Accountant OR ICWA
Preferred Qualification: Degree in Electrical Engineering with Chartered Accountant / ICWA
