Job Description	• Accountant’s responsibilities include: o Monthly books closing including bank reconciliations, intercompany and other accounts reconciliations, prepaid amortization, FAR review and journal entries o Statutory compliances for STPI / SEZ units including records maintenance, reports filing, import documentation, bonding / debonding, export invoices and service tax and VAT refund claims o Serving as point of contact for internal and/or external clients and provide high quality service for multiple business units / legal entities. Educate clients/associates on policies, procedures and plans o Ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial procedures and tax laws including income tax, withholding taxes, transfer pricing, service tax and VAT o Preparing financial reports for a variety of audiences and updating financial information in Cerner systems o Assisting with audits and other general accounting matters
Qualifications	Must have o Chartered Accountancy (CA) degree with not more than 2 attempts in clearing the final exams o Solid English communication skills - written and oral o Ability to communicate clearly and determine appropriate communication medium (e.g. phone, face-to-face meeting, e-mail, instant message, voicemail) o Strong attention to detail, well organized, ability to handle large volume, ability to meet deadlines, ability to work overtime and/or irregular hours when needed o Solid customer service skills - requires interaction with associates, auditors, consultants and government authorities o Ability to contribute individually and collaborate in a team as necessary o General computer aptitude - this position requires high usage of PeopleSoft, Outlook and Excel Good to have o PeopleSoft experience
