Job Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
The Head of Finance India will be responsible for all controlling, forecasting, planning and analysis activities for India.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Drive planning and forecasting activities for India while interfacing closely with India business partners and regional FP&A team
- Updating key financial models and creating new financial models from scratch – Including but not limited to Customer Cohort models, pricing models, deal models, etc.
- Work closely with APAC Controllership team to ensure necessary controls are in place across all business processes
- Manage a small team of finance professionals
- Create and monitor compensation programs for relevant personnel
- Reviewing key management reports to ensure data accuracy
- Work closely with Regional FP&A and PayPal IMD team to implement new reports and clean up existing reports
- Create and deliver presentations for various financial and business reviews
- Drive process improvement and lay the foundation for scalable processes that will scale with growth
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive work experience in Finance/Accounting (Fortune 500 a plus), Banking/Consulting or Public Accounting
- Excellent understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and a strong working knowledge of corporate finance theory
- Experience with large financial systems such as SAP, BW, Essbase, Khalix, etc
- Controllership Experience with exposure to ledge setup, stat accounting and internal controls
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to partner effectively with all functions and levels within PayPal
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills - Including exposure to pivot tables, macros, data tables, OLAP functionality, etc.
- Preference to candidates who have work experience in both the US and Asia
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
