| Finance Theater Manager – Level 10 Job Description: Finance Manager for WPR APJC and India Theaters. Responsibilities include: Managing the Annual, Quarterly Budget/Commit and the monthly Financial Review processes for Cisco’s APJC and India Real Estate, Facility Opex and Capex spending (USD 250m in Opex on annual basis) Responsible for month end variance analysis, forecasts ensuring to drive discipline through out the support areas. Business partnering with the WPR Delivery team to enable decision making by Financial Due Diligence in portfolio expansion or consolidation and capital budgeting. Provide the team necessary financial guidance through NPV Analysis, Payback analysis, allocation impacts or any other adhoc analysis towards an informed decision making. Enabling/ updating Finance process changes like “Plan to Deliver” and instuitionalize the same in the theaters. Collaborate with cross-functional project team to develop and implement consistent financial processes across WPR. Engage with business partners in process mapping and improvements which may involve other cross functional teams. Participate and/or drive cross functional projects having a bearing on WPR Capex or Opex, like Campus projects, in evaluation and financial due diligence Provide the necessary visibility and communication to business partners on Finance processes leading to better adherence Engage with business partners and Accounting teams to enable any compliance relating to GAAP principles. E.g. Lease Accounting, Capitalization of projects etc. Drive cost consciousness and frugal behaviour in business partners in alignment with corporate guidance on spend management Lead as an internal interface with other finance functions and one point contact for other functions in areas requiring WPR finance support Skills: Technical Skills 10-15 years Experience in Finance and Accounting in the industry, preferably in Multi-National Companies A Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant or MBA (specialization in Finance) from a reputed Institution Other Skills Very strong business partnering skills with ability to influence and drive positive spending behavior. Ability to work with/through 'virtual' organization and cross functional team Team player, leading/engaging Ability to drive a culture of Corporate Governance into the entire Organization and capability to be independent challenger to business process thus drive and support business organization to prevent risk to corporate figures integrity. Proficiency in Excel, Business Objects and ability to use/learn other company tools (Fetch, Plan It) Analytical skills, attention to details and ability to work effectively under time pressure Proactive & structured guidance, ensuring/influencing that the right priorities are set for both the WPR organization and the support teams Ability to train Finance and all support groups in the allocation tool and as new systems are operational Strong Accounting knowledge with specific exposure to US GAAP Ability to present allocation and business polices effectively verbally and in written form Ability to take assigned projects and tasks from conception to completion |
