Finance Manager - MMF Pune will provide finance leadership for MMF with a projected plant turnover of $ 400 MM in Phase I in 2015. This position will report into Finance Leader- Supply Chain, GE India. 

This role will be the face of MMF Pune to internal stakeholders and key external stakeholder including regulators.
This role will be the business partner to the Site Leader MMF in running all Operating Rhythms and reviews at MMF and own the MMF current program execution deck for functional deliverables and work closely with India Finance Leader- supply chain on strategic programs for Ph. 2 expansion. 

 Own the balance sheet and profit and loss statement for the MMF plant. Provide analysis and recommendations on capital expenditures, restructuring, acquisitions, and other projects o the supply chain leadership team. 

 Accountable for the following key areas at the plant: 

o Controllership (e.g., adherence to GE policies, country specific statutory requirements, transfer of best practices, internal controls, cost accounting compliance under the Cost Accounting and Reporting Rules etc.) for plant related operations. 
o Oversight of Standard Cost handbook and PPV analysis of the Plant 
o Control and own the Inventory processes at the plant – perpetual inventory controls, yearly stock counts, stock adjustments etc. 
o Own all Inventory and Cost Accounting ledgers in Balance Sheet and P&L of MMF 
o Monitor various efficiency parameters of the plant – like line utilization, machine utilization analytics etc. 
o Drive simplification initiatives with support for shared services, collaboration with several GOF streams, Tax COE and with ERP implementations and execution 
o Own and drive the liquidation model with collaboration with multiple stakeholders. 

 Provide leadership to the finance team supporting the operations.
 Master's degree in Business Administration or Finance / Chartered Accountant (or equivalent qualification) 
 Strong industry/region specific knowledge and contacts coupled with knowledge of controllership, audit, accounting, simplification, treasury, and tax / legal issues (familiarity with Indirect Taxes and statutes applicable for a plant) 
 Experience working in a manufacturing environment. 
 Demonstrated abilities in leading and managing functional teams. 
 Strategic thinker, business acumen and strong cross functional integration skills with the ability to create and execute concrete action plans 
 Experience with implementation and working on financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, Business Objects, etc.)
