Job Description
A yound dynamic individual with professional qualification needed for Pricing & Commercial Analyst role for a leading industrial gases MNC based in Navi Mumbai. The role is one of the critical levers for delivering strategic intent & change management as a back bone to Sales & Marketing Team.
Purpose of the Position
This position will have core responsibility for deep diving pricing analysis , volume analysis , contract execution and key part of the Pricing & Contract Management HPO workstream within the respective country. Acting as a pricing analyst to country pricing manager with respect to leading pricing analysis and review asset analysis for Merchant Package Gases and Healthcare Business :-
— Key stakeholder for implementing country pricing activities is adopted to at least HPO minimum standards, ensuring alignment to Global and Regional HPO pricing and business strategies.
— Develop quarterly/monthly reports for the Maturity report analysis and develop the documentation for internal data audit.
— Develop and discuss all documentation, communication and implementation of pricing strategy, Policy and authority matrix review as part of the Pricing Network vide country pricing meeting.
— Prepare Churn report, Win/loss report, Business pricing performance and submit monthly/quarterly report in the pricing committee meeting.
— Responsible for proactively managing the Pricing Data reports for Bulk , PGP and HC Business .
— Developing Price and Volume Impact Analysis to have Pricing Manager intervene with Sales to ensure we have planned Asset Utilisation and generate back end CTR Reports.
— Develop product price analysis report for SP&C segment.
Principal Responsibilities
o Understands the Regional HPO Pricing and Contract management strategies and develop and implement a plan for benefit identification and delivery that will meet or exceed the cost recovery and pricing effectiveness objectives.
o Tracks pricing and cost recovery against plan / KPI’s and performs intervention /escalation.
o Tracks price deep dive progress and reports to project sponsors on status.
o Support in delivery of a pricing strategy with clear executive support.
o Delivery of price support, analysis and enforcement within own country and teams.
o As a team member accountable for achieving the benefits (savings and value add targets) of the team, implementing the core minimum HPO P&CM standards in a practical and sustainable manner.
o Support in ensuring that all savings whether made by pricing or full cost recovery is recorded correctly as per assigned timescales.
o Responsible for pricing analysis of special products and ensure correct pricing to deliver target margins.
o Responsible for planning & conducting monthly/quarterly Price Committee meeting.
o Work with the Strategic and local marketing and product manager’s teams to understand cost composition and relevant margin recovery requirements.
o Promote corporate values of the company
o Ensure staff and suppliers act in accordance with all appropriate safety legislation and guidelines.
Key Interfaces
Within the Country team:-
o Works with the business at senior & regional sales leadership levels to ensure pricing and cost recovery strategies and target compliance are implemented & analysed.
o Creates the Monthly Pricing meeting data analysis involving key stakeholders and country manager, actively involved in the appropriate decisions .
o Works within the business at all levels to ensure processes and procedures are understood and applied & pricing and appropriate commercial disciplines are adopted and utilised with feedback obtained on their effectiveness.
Within the RBU Strategic Marketing team:-
o Works with Regional Pricing Manager / Regional CS and BCP manager ensure Global/Regional requirements are met and effectively reported against.
o Share experiences/Analysis / implementation activities that will help positively shape objectives and results delivery.
With External:-
o Understanding of external competitors pricing approach
o Leading industry pricing behaviours and Linde tools .

Required Qualifications/Experience (Internal Candidate)
o 2 years + experience in finance or commercial or sales & marketing or in another related role (Business Management or Cost Accountancy or Chartered Accountant or Company Secretary qualifications will be preferred)
o Excellent understanding of the business, ideally with an in-depth knowledge of commercial pricing and cost recovery elements.
o Experience of operating within a matrix organisation highly advantageous.
o Experience in leading change successfully required.
