We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the Business Finance team.
Principal Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to assist in the management of the bank’s Management Information System with the objective of providing timely, reliable and useful information for effective and efficient planning and control, focus mainly on customer profitability, product and segment profitability .
To ensure that management information needs are adequately met through appropriate reporting features/capabilities and system enhancements. To ensure that the product costing methodology is vigorously applied. The role would be responsible for the Planning and forecasting processes at the Bank level (Businesses, HTS, Functions) and will also need to have an understanding of the financials at an India level
The role will require liaison with Business Finance teams, GFC teams, HTS & Function teams to provide correct and consistent information.
Key stakeholders from a Business / Function view:
• Maintains a credible and reliable MIS database from which all MIS reports can be extracted with focus on customer level data and Activity Based Management module.
• Contributes to the on-going development of MIS and improvements of the quality of information with focus on customer level data, produced.
• Role holder will be responsible for managing CG Reporting, Group submission and Monthly closing processes.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of HORIS reporting, HORIS reconciliation with Tm1 reports. Further, engage with all stakeholders to improve and streamline the HORIS reporting process.
• Ensure accuracy of CG Balance sheet reporting and improve/automate the current process.
• Ensure accuracy and certain key process i.e. FEX reporting, CG Supplementary, etc.
• Ensure AOP exercise is carried out smoothly and within the stipulated timelines.
• Develop operational controls for all MI process, effectively guide and control GFC Team activities.
From a Customers / Stakeholders view, the incumbent will be responsible to ensure
• Balance the provision of a service with maintaining a degree of independence and hence ensuring we do the right thing for Finance and the bank as a whole, having courageous conversations where necessary

• Establish and implement ‘best practice’ Financial Control and Reporting processes and procedures.
• Determine the proper control and application of relevant policies
• Compliance with external regulatory requirements, internal control standards and group compliance policy
