| Department Description | In the position , you will support & influence Sales and project team for driving sales and cash. The focus shall be on Pro-active governance & business support, driving business unit improvement by translating financial data into actionable activities, facilitating decision making through business simulations/analysis & risk management |
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
• Project Accounting - Drive and support operational efficiency projects; Secure correct revenue and cost recognition methodologies • Channel Accounting: Work with sales and marketing for lauch of schemes for channel business • Financial Planning: targets, forecast, budget, analysis and control • Active participation in project reviews (business, operational) - post • Active participation in bid process • Secure effective cash collection • Customer relationship with key finance people at customer site • Indirect Taxes including Services Tax, Custom Duty and Sales Tax • Independently handling Statutory Audit and internal audits • Month end financial closure- US GAAP • Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Specific Knowledge/Skills
Chartered Accountant & Company secretary desirable (for signing balance sheet) – work experience – 5-7 years • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exposure to business finance will be preferred |
