Overview:
Mission of Business Finance is to be a trusted business partner and an industry thought leader supporting optimization of stakeholder value and act as a fiduciary by ensuring high quality financial reporting and rigorous risk oversight and controls.
Job Purpose:
Responsible for carrying out activities of Business Finance - Investments Team, which include regular management reporting (MIS), Analytics support, forecasting/budgeting and financial analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for running management reports, including monthly business and financial results to management and businesses, co-working with business finance colleagues globally
- Provide/review financial data related to Investments BETA/Alternatives businesses by interfacing/coordinating with functional business finance contacts, which includes monthly AUM reporting & variance analysis, Net New Business (NNB) forecast update, global MIS such as Business Review and Operating Plan.
- Update/review expenses forecast for functions on a monthly basis and input to required template for upload to finance system (Northstar)
- Co-work with other finance teams for proper expenses forecast, Managed View reporting, review & sign off
- Maintain/Review cost center segment and AP workflows
- Initiating & supporting Business Finance projects & process improvements

Qualifications:
- 2 to 4 years of experience with a similar profile, preferably including investment management and/or financial industry experience
- Must be commerce graduate; CA, CFA level 1, MBA or equivalent qualification preferred
- Strong skill and experience in data management
- Proficiency in MS Excel, prior experience in Essbase/Hyperion preferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate within BlackRock, including Finance, both locally and across geographies
- Ability to build relationship with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment (not only Business Finance team but also across Finance including controllers team and Finance as a whole
- Broad knowledge of the asset management industry and investment management
- Good communication and engagement skills at all levels
