| Potential candidate will be a member of the ASC team, handling USGAAP Books, India GAAP Books in the areas of General Ledger, Intercompany Accounting, Statutory/Regulatory compliances, Statutory Audits, Process efficiencies, etc., across various India Legal Entities. This is a challenging role for those dynamic candidates looking to make an impact as finance catalyst. Roles and Responsibilities • Responsible for all the accounting activities relating to the Intercompany, enabling periodic settlements, ensuring “No out of Balance” etc. • Handling the accounting for such transactions in U.S. GAAP and as per India GAAP, • General Ledger ownership some of the legal entities • Bank Account Reconciliation ownership • Month Close cadence and Reporting • Timely and accurate Account Reconciliations and Confirmation of Balances • Ensuring Regulatory compliance where FEMA and related rules apply • Adherence to periodical furnishing of reports to RBI with reference to exchange control governance • Enabling the Reporting requirements of SEZ/STPI Rules/Regulations • Support Annual Statutory Audits, Tax, GRC Audits, TP study etc., • Drive process and automation maturity in Intercompany payment processing • Rigor in rhythm of reporting for compliance services Technical and other skills required: • BS degree and 10 years of related experience OR CA/MBA and 7-8 years of related experience. • Sound knowledge of IGAAP and broad knowledge and experience of U.S. GAAP and its application • Experience in handling STPI/SEZ compliance framework will be handy • Hands on exposure to ERP environment – in specific Oracle Financials preferred. • Working knowledge of Hyperion, Essbase reporting is an added advantage • Excellent Communication skills and cross functional collaboration skills • Self-starter and Go getter |
