Financial Accounting Analyst

We Offer...

Responsibility of ensuring the Company’s financial records are in compliance with GAAP, Accounting Policies & Standards and respective local regulatory requirements, Internal Control requirements, Corporate Accounting Department policies and procedures
  • Efficient and effective timely delivery of External and Internal Financial Reports, including local statutory and regulatory reports
  • Prepare monthly and year-end Local GAAP Financial Statements in the PeopleSoft general ledger
  • Responsible for monthly close for all corporate entities
  • Handle India repatriation issues, transfer pricing and tax issues
  • Ensure tax returns, filings and estimated payments are processed
  • Work with external auditors to meet all audit requirements
  • Contribute to the variance analysis process
  • Coordinate corporate accounting resources in support of the budgeting & re-forecasting efforts for India
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regional managers and business unit managers within India
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external advisers in all required jurisdictions
  • Provide requested reports for the Board of Directors meetings.

You Offer...

  • Graduate in accounting or an advanced degree of certification in finance, accounting or management would be preferred. 
  • Local training, Chartered Accountant or equivalent is required
  • Public Accounting Experience is preferred
  • Prefer applicants from NBFC/ Securities with broker dealer experience; alternatively open to look at candidates from Big 4 handling audits of similar companies
  • Experience with a global organization operating in India
  • Knowledge of Financial and Management Accounting , General Accounting Principles, General Ledger, Budgeting/Planning
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn and apply learning quickly
  • Excellent team player
  • Ability to meet strict reporting deadlines
