Job Function
Responsible for all aspects of finance, accounts, and related statutory matters
Responsible to assist management in understanding costs, revenues, head count and other statistical data with a view to take informed decisions
Responsible to maintain books for various requirements; a) US GAAP accounts for parent company b) Statutory books for Indian Company law/ Indian GAAP
Responsible for Compliances with Local Tax, Service Tax, STPI, Corporate and Other Regulatory Requirements
Responsible for implementing all processes, controls and introduce policies to achieve the corporate objectives in terms of timely and quality output
Responsible to ensure that all statutory compliances including adhering to FEMA rules are followed while handling all foreign currency transactions
Responsible for all tax and statutory matters
Responsible for Statutory Audit, Internal Audit and Tax Audit along with IFRS Conversion
Responsibilities
Hand-on Maintenance of General Ledger under Oracle system environment preferably multiple set of books
Carry out Account Reconciliations as may be needed to appropriately state the account balances
FP&A Related activities for various Bus as assigned from time to time
Preparation of detailed MIS and other financials, variance reports with budgets and analysis of Balance sheet
Manage STPI, Service Tax, TDS and Local tax compliances by liaising with Tax Consultants, Banks and Other Departments
Liaising with Statutory and Internal Auditors
Basic Qualifications
Ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4 - 8 years of experience in a global diversified MNC, preferably in IT/ Technology Industry nature
Experience working in MNC Audit Firms with similar set of clients is also desirable
Article-ship training or experience with a MNC Accounting Firm preferable
Strong Knowledge of Indian GAAP, IFRS and basic knowledge on US GAAP
Good understanding of accounting Foreign currency transactions and currency translations
Sound knowledge on Statutory Audit/Internal Audit/ Tax Audit/ Transfer pricing Audit requirements
Knowledge on STPI / EOU operations and customs requirement preferable
Exceptional interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills
Advanced PC skills in spreadsheet and ERP Experience (preferably Oracle R12) required
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Demonstrated ability to thrive in complex environments and cross group collaboration
Education Requirements
Preferred: Bachelor's, Accounting & Qualified Chartered Accountant(1st Attempt)
