JOB TITLE: Assistant Finance Manager                                                

JOB LOCATION: Mumbai HO

JOB DESCRIPTION:

-Facilitate and Analyze the Buyer forecasts during the forecasting cycle to understand the cycle on cycle /Year on Year impacts to costs

Assist in the global forecasting process by agreeing and releasing the key global economic assumptions

Sensitivity Analysis to evaluate impact of latest markets vs the previous forecast assumptions

Assist in the global scorecard  for the commodities team and oversee the performance measurement tracking that is currently manually done for CRM

- Performance management-tracking of Key KPIs-cost savings/cost avoidance and payment terms. Highlight key areas of improvement. Assist the chemicals team to come up with innovative business models like consignment stocking, value chain analysis , cost modelling etc

-Analysis of Forecast Accuracy- compare the forecast data against the actuals and identify pockets where the differences are above the permitted threshold and identify corrective actions for the same

Contract Management – Commodities teams have time sensitive contracts that they are negotiating with their suppliers. Finance needs to review these contracts for the risk management and business partnering lens to ensure that there is value being created for Unilever through these negotiations.

-Supplier Analysis-assist in reviewing commodities contracts with suppliers, supplier analysis of financials to assess financial health. Competitor Analysis of key financial ratios to benchmark against other suppliers or competitors

-Indirects and Budgets- Tracking of indirects data of the Commodities team and measure against the budget. Highlighting areas of overspend to the Commodities.

Commodities Network-

Procurement and CRM Buyers, Managers, Directors and Procurement VP.

Qualification : CA – 1^st attempt/MBA /ICWA/CFA

Experience : 3 – 5 years
