Description

 The overall responsibilities of this role will cover:

• Manage Finance Function for ADM-BTS.

• Manage Governance support for the One Finance

• Cost Centre Management for BTS.

• Manage Budgets & Forecasts and prepare the Component based billing for BTS Management Function

• BTS Accruals, recharges and month end close related activities

• Coordinate with One Finance team for all the BTS related Finance issues

• Manage a strong professional relationships with team members, portfolio managers and Key Stakeholders

• Convert & produce meaningful & cohesive Finance MI reports for BTS.

• Look at process improvement and automating current business processes to avoid manual intervention.

Knowledge & Skill (15%)

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of the   Accruals, Budget and Forecast and ensure that there is no slippage in deadlines set as per Finance calendar & requirements.

• Accountable for ensuring accuracy across the end to end process.

• Manage issues & queries related to cost centre reconciliation, cost recovery, accrual, Budget invoice processing and reporting.

• Provide data analysis to stakeholders for proactive decision making.

• Liaise with Finance Business Partners to ensure posting of accruals, prepayments and expense re-class.

Communication (10%)

• Should have excellent written & oral communication skills; should be articulate & assertive.

• Adapts style to contribute and enhance overall team performance.

• Deals comfortably with ambiguity and uncertainty.

• Effective at working with unstructured teams, situations and environments.

Supervision (40%)

• Manage the revenue value chain for the business which includes budgeting, forecasting, accruals and invoicing for BTS.

• Ensure proper coordination between BTS and One Finance team and timely resolution of queries related to either side.

• Work closely with the BTS Business Units and the one Finance Team to manage smooth flow of Finance activities

• Provide visibility of risks and issues against key financial targets

Judgement & Initiative (20%)



• Be proactive to identify a problem and initiate the possible solutions with the Business Units and stakeholders

• Assist the BTS in providing analysis along with probable solutions of the issues / problems related to Finance and processes

• Demonstrates clear thinking by identifying areas which will add demonstrable business value, cost savings.

• Utilise stakeholder relationships and seek feedback to proactively identify improvement opportunities and drive the team to implement change.



Influence on Resources (15%)

• Work very closely with the BTS Finance and Business Units to drive cohesion of Finance processes across teams.

• Be able to provide any explanation & data for managing the Operations Finance process with in BTCI

• Publishing dashboards & drive business calls with Key Stakeholders.

• Ensuring that the function and services provided by the team continue to meet requirements, obtaining feedback and suggestions for improvement etc, including expectation management

• Share best practice and learning with colleagues and seek continuous improvement opportunities, maintaining a thorough understanding of relevant, up-to-date finance knowledge.



Essential/Basic Qualifications

 • A qualified CA/ CMA

• Excellent command over MS Excel

• Excellent in PowerPoint/MS Word

• Excellent social skills in dealing with senior internal / external stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships

• Excellent organising skills; demonstrates initiative and competence; communicates a vision and strategy of own role.

• Strong analysis and problem solving skills

• Strong sense of ownership and accountability

• Articulate communication / writing skills

• Ability to work independently and maintain hard deadlines

• Ability to network and influence others without direct oversight and supervision
