The Head of Tax at SSC would be a key member of the SSC Leadership Team. The Incumbent would be responsible for Delivery for all tax processes (Indirect tax, Direct Tax & other local tax) throughout Vodafone circles in India. The incumbent will play an important role in providing strategic insight to the business in his/her respective domain.
The incumbent would play a very critical role in timely completion of Tax Business Operations migration as per project plan signed off in Solution Design
The incumbent is also expected to foster collaboration with circle stakeholders and senior Vodafone leadership in India to exchange ideas & rally support; The incumbent would also be responsible for delivering year on year productivity and efficiency and seamless service delivery. The incumbent would actively partner with concerned departments for effective talent development, knowledge management and Continuous improvement initiatives within the SSC for his team.
C. Key Result Areas
Service Delivery:
- Manage seamless service delivery of pan India circles for migrated processes in Tax.
Operational Excellence:
- Improving Operational Excellence by various initiatives.
- Process re-engineering and automation to deliver productivity.
- Budget management for Tax Cycle
- Optimise overall cost for Tax Cycle
- Minimise operational issues post migration.
- Bring year on Year improvement in KPI
Business Partnering:
- Strengthen Partner Relationship Management model and continue to engage the stakeholders.
- Improve CSAT score year on year for
- Create best practice sharing forums.
- Integration with circle finance team
- Support business in New Business Initiatives
Education: : Post Graduate Degree in Finance
Professional Qualification: Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant
Knowledge: Experience in handling big teams
Experience in a SSC/ BPO/ KPO, in a Leadership Role
Strong Operations experience
Experience of working with SAP – ERP system
