Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work learn about Microsoft India Development Center (MSIDC) ? We are looking for a high performing Finance professional with a proven track-record of business partnering to support the Microsoft India Development center in Bangalore. In this challenging role you’ll partner closely with IDC leadership team, and will guide and support IDC through planning, forecasting, reporting, financial analysis, Control and compliance and business insight. You will partner with a variety of internal stakeholders including, IDC leadership, Corporate FP&A, One Finance.

Core Job Responsibilities:

This role will directly support the MS IDC Engineering Groups. In addition to the IDC Engineering groups, the role will have significant interaction with the Redmond Finance team and India One finance Team and other Microsoft organizations located in Bangalore and other parts of India.
Drive monthly and quarterly financial close and related processes, as well as regular analysis related to the business results and forecast. Assimilate information from multiple sources, and identify key drivers, variables, trends, and business scenarios to develop insights and inform business decisions
Provide business planning support, covering a broad spectrum of deliverables, including activities, analysis and deliverables associated with all planning and forecasting. Such efforts include quarterly forecast updates, target setting for financial goals, and business planning reviews
Develop and prepare reports and analysis for business review with management related to key financial metrics and indicators
Partner with business leaders and decision makers to understand tradeoffs of business decisions through financial modeling, sensitivity analysis, and effective communication
Act as a liaison between IDC and relevant groups such as SMSG Finance, Tax, LCA, RE &F , One Finance. In particular, act as a point of contact for questions involving IDC related to Controls and Compliance. Implement controls and assess risk. Comply with all statutory requirements

Requirements/ Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications include but are not limited to:
Minimum 5-6 years of demonstrated work experience
Professional qualification such as MBA or Chartered Accountant is must
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
High level of motivation; self-starter; ability to quickly identify what needs to be accomplished, craft a solution, hands on , manage a project plan and drive results
Must be extremely detail oriented; proactive, flexible and adaptable. Must be highly organized, effectively manage multiple projects with competing priorities and work independently.
Desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple groups and able to build strong relationships across finance and the business
Advanced Excel skills; strong knowledge of finance tools, financial policies, and controls and systems
