Description
Responsible for the preparation of complex and interpretive financial analyses and reports. Supports the annual budget process, expense and/or staffing forecasts and statistical reporting.Prepares complex financial analyses and reports for department management.
Prepares analyses, reports, and special studies for management.
Works with assigned organizational unit(s) to develop annual budgets, expense and staffing forecasts, and statistical reporting.
Prepares statistical reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis.
Coaches less-experienced Financial Analysts.
Qualifications
SkillsNAEducation, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required. Progress toward Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification preferred.Experience
Intermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.
Experience - Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant with 3-4 years post qualification experience

Analysis of 'Service Solutions' Line of business (LoB) profitability
- Calculation of segmental and zonal profitability
- Providing variance analysis of sales & profitability
MIS & Business partnering for Service Solutions LoB
- Monthly sales and profitability forecasting
- Annual operating plan (AOP) and Simulation (SPP)
- Financial evaluation of new contracts
- Support for commercial aspects and Transaction mapping
- Supporting internal audit, if required
- Monitoring of scheduled and non scheduled overhauls, its costs and impact on revenues
Ensure business control aspects and accurate accounting for Service Solutions LoB
- Revenue recognition (Application of AS 29)
- Ensure completeness of dealers claims
- Provisioning and monitoring of SLA
Swing engine accounting and policy compliance for Service Solutions LoB
- Capex : asset monitoring, forecast and capitalization
- RFA analysis and coordination
The candidate would be an integral part of the 'Close The Books' team for DBU business.
