Description
A.Accounts related Activities.
· Assist in annual planning and budgeting exercises for the Bulk terminal, monitor costs periodically and ensure timely payments to vendors.
· Timely preparation of periodical accounts and other MIS information to CFD, RDCW etc.
· Coordinate in cost and tax audit requirements and with external and Internal auditors for smooth conduct of Audit.
· Carry out periodical physical verification of fixed assets, stores and spares, finished goods packing bags and other inventory items.
· Ensure timely statutory payments and returns compliances.
· Reconciliation of all accounts, including vendor accounts and corrective actions/preparation of monthly cost data for cost monitoring purposes.
B.Commercial Activities .
· Ensure planning and procurement of required materials, including stores and spares, consumables, packing bags, capital spares etc..
· Coordinate with RDCW in preliminary negotiations’ with vendors for the purchase of various items and order finalization.
· Ensure timely receipt of material through proper coordination with the transporters and also ensure timely dispatch of stores and spares and other items from the Terminal to other places for repairs etc.
C.Other Activities.
· Ensure proper adherence to safety procedures and Aditya Birla Operational Excellance Frame work.
· Coordinate with Cochin Port Trust Authorities on lease and land other related matters
· Any other activity which may be assigned from time to time by Corporate or RDCW.
Qualifications
MBA-Finance or CA (Inter) Mandatory Skills Well verse in subject required Indian Rupee (INR)
Experience Level 11 - 15 Years Reports to: CBT-HEAD Infrastructure & Welfare Facilities Plant is located in Willingdon Island, Cochin, Kerala. Nearest Railway Station is Ernakulam (5 Kms) and nearest Airport is Cochin (46 Kms
