Job Description
The candidate will be member of the Consumer Banking Field Finance team. The Field Finance team provides analysis and reporting to support Retail Branches, Districts, Markets & Regions effectively profitably grow their business. Duties will include building, maintaining, and producing weekly, monthly, & quarterly reporting. These reports will be used by Field Management and Business Analysts in business reviews, management meetings and to track progress and to seek insight into running the business and improving profitability. Will regularly coordinate with Field Finance Business Analysts and groups maintaining sources of information such as the Branch P&L group, Retail Financial systems, Sales Tracking, CPC Analytics, Retail P&A, Retail Data Mart, Retail Delivery, or any group that is responsible for maintain or providing information need for reporting. .
Ideal candidate will support, maintain, and produce reporting to Field Finance Support Team. The team member will use Excel, Essbase, PowerPoint, Business Objects, Access, and Adobe Acrobat in conjunction with JPMorgan's financial tools to create meaningful reports.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support (design/ maintain/ review/ produce) weekly/ monthly/quarterly reporting to support Field Finance.
- Indentify ways to deliver timely, accurate reporting more efficiently.
- Partner with Business Analysts and Sources of data business to ensure smooth functioning of the process/function
- Maintain & Coordinate calendar of deliverables
Qualifications
- MBA (Finance)/ Chartered Accountant with 4-6 years of post qualification experience
- Knowledge and understanding of financial statements, concepts and principles - Balance Sheet, Net Interest Margin, Fee Income and Noninterest Expense
- Experience in Retail Financial Service/ banking industry preferred
- Strong team player
- Excellent communication and partnering skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Highly organized and a proven track record of consistently meeting deadlines
- Ability to multi-task and work autonomously within team environment
- Ability to research issues/problems and provide a 'solution-based' approach
- Adaptable to change and ambiguity in the work environment
- Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint (i.e. use of pivot tables, macros, arrays, etc)
- Knowledge of Essbase would be an added advantage
