| • The incumbent will be part of the FP&A team of GE India Technology Centre • The role will provide all financial planning and analytical support to the Transportation Technology team based out of the Centre. • The incumbent will provide strategic financial support / advise to the Business and Operational Leaders | |
| • Prepare periodic operating plans and plan updates by working closely with the Business Leaders, Operations Managers and the US business HQ . • Periodic review and analysis of Plan vs Actuals covering financial and operating metrics • Be the key strategic advisor to the Business Leader providing proactive updates on performance vs plan • Engage closely with business teams to drive key operational and financial metrics • Flag operational and financial risks and issues and drive action plans for closure / mitigation • Lead financial reviews with business headquarter and be the focal point for all financials in India for the BU • Drive constant rigor on compliance and controllership • Provide periodical forecasts for financials and operational metrics • Evaluate and approve all capital / operational expenses within budget by working closely with business teams • Drive execution and adherence to budgets • Closely work with controller’s team for month / quarter and year end financial closure including audits • Execute any specific projects identified from time to time • Actively work on analyzing the cost structure of the business and drive strategic actions for cost optimization • Work with FP&A Leader, Tax Manager and Controller on various compliance related areas | |
| • Chartered Accountant/MBA with 7-9 years of relevant experience • Strong knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis including Cost benefit analysis, variance analysis, planning, forecasting, budgeting and management reporting • Ability to engage and work with business and operational leaders independently • Ability to communicate independently with clarity and confidence with all levels of management • Strong knowledge of Indian and US GAAP • High level of proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel and Power point) • Ability to work in a matrix environment | |
