Global Procurement is responsible for establishing the programs to acquire products and services for BNY Mellon by employing deep category knowledge and commodity expertise, coupled with an understanding of the needs of our businesses and business partner groups.
The Corporate Treasury group is responsible for managing the investment portfolios and the liquidity and capital positions of the various subsidiary banks and of BNY Mellon.

Description

Senior Financial analyst is responsible for preparation of various Financial reports in the Reporting team.
- Assist in preparation of various financial reports including periodic BS and Pnl statements which gets submitted to senior management.
- Prepare periodic Regulatory returns (Medium to high complexity) with highest level of accuracy under tight reporting deadlines.
- Support Operations Manager in executing any other reporting tasks as may be assigned on a periodic basis
- Contribute to process efficiencies by identifying the opportunities and drive the improvements
- Develop expertise in various deliverables including US Regulatory reporting
- Tracking Policies and Procedures applicable to work performed from Chennai
- Conduct Reporting Knowledge Tests within the team on a periodic basis to test the knowledge of the staff
Adherence to various applicable internal policies and process controls

Qualifications

Qualified chartered accountant, likely from an audit background with strong technical accounting knowledge.
