Job Description

  
The candidate will be member of the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) P&A team.  The P&A team serves as a planning and analytical resource to help executives manage, forecast, plan and gain insight into the financial profitability of the business. The P&A group responsibilities include managing the monthly and quarterly forecast process, coordinating financial reporting and processes with Corporate finance teams, Investor Relations, managing the annual budget/mid-year forecast process, managing several financial  and strategic analytic projects and providing insight and decision support to the CCB leadership team and JPMC finance leadership.
 
Ideal candidate will help support the P&A team in all aspects of Management Reporting related to the CCB organization.  The team member will use Excel and PowerPoint in conjunction with JPMorgan's financial tools to create meaningful reports and analysis.
 
Role and Responsibilities
  • Review/ Supervision of daily work with the goal of providing timely and accurate Management Reporting
  • Partner with onshore teams to ensure smooth functioning of the process/function
  • Managing escalations
  • Team Management, Performance reviews - Providing feedback, appraisals
  • Partner with business P&A/ LEC teams (onshore/ local) to ensure smooth functioning of the process/function
  • Support (design/ modify/ review) the monthly/quarterly reporting around EMR’s, T&E dashboards, revenue/ expense, headcount and Balance Sheet as per business requirements
  • Preparation of insightful, high quality Senior Management presentations
  • Support ad hoc requests from the Business and Senior Management.
  • Leading and driving expense reduction initiatives across CCB
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives
 
Qualifications
  • MBA (Finance)/ Chartered Accountant with 10-12 years of post qualification experience
  • Experience in Retail Financial Service/ banking industry preferred
  • Strong team/ people management skills
  • Excellent communication and partnering skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrate leadership and organizational capabilities
  • Ability to multi-task and work autonomously within team environment
  • Ability to research issues/problems and provide a 'solution-based' approach
  • Adaptable to change and ambiguity in the work environment
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint (i.e. use of pivot tables, macros, arrays, etc)
  • Knowledge of Essbase would be an added advantage
