Job Introduction
A robust sales strategy would be one of the critical success factors in contributing to the growth aspirations of the corporate business of HSBC as a whole and to GTRF within its ambit. While we continue to protect and grow our wallet across various customer segments and industries, increase in market share by way of new customer acquisitions would be one of the key drivers to our growth.
The job holders key responsibility would be to identify, market and sell trade and supply chain solutions to new to bank/trade customers in alignment with the asset acquisition strategy of the Bank. He/ She would contribute significantly towards the targeted revenue/NPBT by originating new trade business and working with customers to design the most efficient trade solutions. The job holder would also advise customer group RMs on trade facility structures in order to optimize the risk -return trade off. The job holder will also be responsible for the retention of/cross sell to certain set of existing trade customers for the area, maximise profit contribution and achieve the overall planned growth of GTRF in line with the Strategic and Area Operating Plans.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the GTRF team.
Principal Responsibilities
• Achieve financial targets set out through NTB acquisitions, Bank line businesses, structured deals and growth in the portfolio of existing customers
• Gain market share by proactively targeting and winning new business for GTRF
• Enhance HSBC’s trade profile internally and externally to improve awareness of GTRF and generate new sales opportunities
• Growth in the portfolio of existing customers and achievement of plan numbers
• Ensure accurate and timely updates of various reporting tools
• To raise the profile of GTRF internally amongst the customer groups, share latest market trends and product variations with stakeholders in GTRF
• Maintain HSBC internal control standards, Implement and observe Group Compliance Policy, maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring
Qualifications
External Qualifications/RequirementsMasters in Business Administration (MBA) / Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) or Chartered Accountant (CA)
