This consolidation is directed towards strengthening the centres of expertise in Business HR. We are currently hiring for mid to senior level HR roles in the Business. These roles would work with the CPOs of the Businesses and Group HQ. 

Description

The role is expected to provide leadership to the Business on issues of Total Rewards, Performance Management, Job Analysis and Evaluation (JAE) and HRMS; and lead a team. Developing Strategy and an operating plan for Rewards & Benefits(R&B), JAE, PM and HRMS for the Business, based on the larger HR Strategy along with the Business CPO and Group HQ will be a key deliverable for this role.

Rewards & Benefits:
  • Independently manage the compensation process for the Business
  • Develop, and implement Pay Management (Fixed & Variable), Market Benchmarking, Long Term & Short Term Incentive Plans, Deferred compensation, Compensation Fitment for hiring, Benefits Policies & Plans, Mobility policy/guidelines, compensation query/grievance handling  for the Business for Job Bands 4 & below. Assist the CPO in the compensation process for JB 3 & above 
  • Ensure regulatory/data security/ other statutory compliances across all geographies in the Business and Companies Act 2013 disclosures for NRC Ensure consistency in process and approach across all regions in the Business; competitive for the sector and within the Group framework Analytics to enable business plan, employee costs and employee productivity.
  • Provide inputs to Group Rewards team with sector specific input regarding Benchmarks and Best Practice.
  • Actively involve all stakeholders in all process stages seeking input, and/or communicating critical processes and updates of pay positioning etc in the country/region
  • Incorporate EVP in the reward and recognition schemes, internal communication and compensation policies/ plans to acquire, engage and retain talent in the Business
  • Align the R&B strategy of the Business with other HR processes to attract and retain appropriate talent for the Business.

Job Analysis and Evaluation (JAE)

  • Develop, and implement Job Analysis Process and Job Evaluation  for the Business Maintain the Job Evaluation database for the Business and ensure it is updated periodically.
  • Ensure consistency in understanding and implementation of the JAE process across all units/regions of the Business
  • Lead the BJECs in the Business and manage the employee communication process Provide inputs for decision making to the Business and HR function(on organization structure, spans of control, benchmark jobs, depth of structure, using Hay job points) Build capability in line managers and HR teams in understanding the process of JAE, writing JDs, designing jobs/roles for effective performance and building efficiency in structures through span of control, workflow and decision flow
  • Align the JAE strategy of the Business with other HR processes to support careers, performance and productivity

Performance Management

  • Ensure quality and calendarized implementation of goal setting, performance appraisal, normalization and communication in the Business
  • Ensure fairness of the performance process by establishing normalization guidelines in the Business
  • Create a framework for standards of performance (ME, EE, FEE) to enable differentiated goals and help/educate line managers to set goals appropriately for their teams
  • Build capability in line managers and HR teams to ensure quality conversations around goal setting, midyear review, annual review, performance feedback and managing non performance

HRMS

  • Lead the implementation of the Group's people process technology in the Business Design, develop and implement Business specific HR solutions in consultation with the central HRMS team
  • Ensure all regulatory, data security/ privacy compliances in all regions of the Business Ensure quality of HR data, data integrity and data availability through defined governance processes and periodic audit mechanisms Design various dashboards as required for Business decision making and drive usage of dashboards across HR processes in the Business
  • Lead user education initiatives for all employees in the Business

Partnering with the CPO and the Business leaders to understand the context and drivers of an issue and provide support/solution will be a key part of the role. In addition to the above the purpose of this role is to ensure that the R&B, JAE, Performance Management and HRMS practices and policies for the Business are compliant with all regulatory requirements, designed to help the Business be competitive and are aligned with the Global/Regional policies of the Group. The job holder is also responsible to build and manage the function’s budgets, resources, capabilities within the team, and expectations of the business, efficiency and effectiveness metrics. The incumbent will be expected to participate in R&B, JAE, Performance Management & HRMS projects by virtue of being a part of a community of practitioners in the Group.
 

Qualifications

 

Masters Degree in Business Management, Human Resources or related area/Chartered Accountant

Certifications/knowledge required  
1. Knowledge of competitive landscape with regards to compensation & benefits plans and the Ability to interpret and apply best practices as and when required
2. World at Work certification on Rewards
3. Knowledge of HAY Group Job Analysis & Evaluation Process
4. Knowledge of People Soft HCM
