Job Title:Finance Supervisior
Description:General Accounting and Reporting (GAR) is responsible for recording accounting transactions, reconciliations, month end close, compliance and reporting for various processes i.e. Revenue & Deferred Revenue Accounting, Payroll Accounting, Fixed Assets, Cash & Treasury Accounting, Inter-Company Accounting & General Ledger Management & Close.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Managing one of the General Accounting and Reporting teams comprising of 10-12 strong team members. Support Agilent Business & Finance teams globally with the following key activities:

 Accounting and Reporting
 Account Reconciliations
 Process related transaction processing
 Project Management
 Support Mergers and Acquisitions
 SOX and Audit

• Should be able to operate independently with minimal supervision, perform complex finance or accounting assignments, including monitoring processes to ensure business controls are adequate and working and coordinating close activities (month/quarter/year-end) etc.

• Providing support to various internal customers/stakeholders for adhoc information requests, troubleshooting & handling special requests.

• Implementation of new accounting policies, financial systems or tools impacting the process area. 
Qualifications:Desired Qualifications: Bachelors or Master Degree or University Degree or equivalent in Commerce and Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 6 years relevant post-qualification experience.

Key skills required:

• Sound knowledge of accounting concepts & principles with preferably some past experience in General Accounting and Reporting.
• Strong people management skills with at least 3 years of proven track record. Ability to coach and be looked upon as a role model by team members.
• Good communications & presentation skills (verbal & written).
• Proficient in MS Office applications with exposure to popular ERPs such as Oracle, SAP, etc.
• Ability to multi-task, stretch and deliver under pressure when required.
