Job Description
Finalizing Legal entities financials on monthly basis and support Legal Entity Controller (LEC) in all US regulatory reportingPartner with Legal Entity controller (LEC) to support on financial reporting and business initiativeQuarterly Regulatory reporting as per US FED and SEC requirements for Asian Legal EntitiesSupport various lines of business and report line of business wise performance reporting on Monthly basis and query resolutionFinancial Integrity of General Ledger by performing daily control checks & follow upsReview of Reference data hierarchyPerform various reconciliations (Account level, system, inter-company etc) to ensure financial integrity.Participate in user acceptance tests during projects on system implementation/changes
Qualifications
Education -
CA with 1-3 years industry experience with good academics and strong accounting knowledge.
Skills -
. CA with 1-3 years of experience preferably with financial services industry and experience
of US GAAP
. Strong accounting knowledge with experience in Book closure and finalizing accounts
. Strong control mindset. Analytical skills.
. Ability to multi-task under considerable time pressure, whilst maintaining a high degree of
accuracy and quality
. Good team player and quick learner
. Good communication and organizational skills including partnering skills and proactive
ness
. Enthusiastic, with a positive can do attitude
. Strong PC skills including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access and Lotus Notes.
. Investment Banking product knowledge including derivatives, equities and debt securities
Knowledge of Oracle GL platforms would be an advantage
