Department overview:
The Centralized Operations team provides support to accelerate the growth of operations at Markit India as more functions/ businesses look to hire staff in India.
Position summary
Markit is seeking a motivated professional to work with the Centralized Operations team to
1. Help on board new functions/projects to Markit India that is either permanent projects or limited tenure deliverables.
2. Provide backup to business areas\other activities for resource shortage in planned and unplanned circumstances.
Duties & accountabilities
1. Support the team in business MIS generation and data analysis
2 .Work on daily, weekly, monthly tasks as needed
3. Gathering and reporting industry, regulatory and competitor news for the firm
4. Manage short or long term assignments independently and collectively as a team
5. Coordinate and communicate with the team members in order to achieve the stated objectives
Desired Skills and Experience
Business competencies
Education and experience
1. CA Inter OR Bachelor's degree in Finance \ Marketing preferred
2. Knowledge in MS-Office
3. 0-3 years of relevant experience
Commercial awareness
The individual needs to be detail oriented to deliver high quality, superior result and possess the ability to understand business objectives and focus and prioritize multiple projects accordingly
Must have financial markets knowledge, and be keen to expand knowledge
